This talk will reinforce the strengths of the matched cohort study design, and point out an important pitfall to avoid when designing your study. To clarify how this pitfall can arise, we will carefully walk through a simulation study and a study using Marketscan claims data. Finally, we will provide a blueprint for addressing potential bias in this setting.
The Cancer Outcomes Research Program Virtual Seminar Series is organized by Drs. Ethan Basch, Stephanie Wheeler, and Matthew Nielsen. Please log into the Zoom meeting between 7:45 am and 8:00 am to help us take attendance prior to the meeting so we can start on time.
