Rural populations are receiving more attention in all aspects of health services and clinical research; cancer outcomes is no exception. Typically, these have been dominated by cancer researchers who “lean into” the rural space. Here, a rural health researcher enters this topic from the “rural health” direction and applies some rural health considerations to cancer outcomes research.
