Brent J. Small, PhD is a Life-Span Developmental Psychologist focused on characterizing cancer-related cognitive impairment. His research examines memory and cognitive performance among cancer survivors in their daily lives by employing smartphone-based assessments of cognition. In addition, he is a methodologist who specializes in the application of advanced statistical methods to longitudinal data, including time intensive ecological momentary assessment studies. Dr. Small collaborates with other members of the Cancer Outcomes Research Program, including Zev Nakamura and Andrew Smitherman. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and walking their dog.
