Jake Stein, MD, MPH is a medical oncologist specializing in sarcoma and a cancer care delivery researcher. His work is aimed at improving delivery of high quality cancer care for adolescents and young adults (AYAs) and other traditionally underserved patient populations. He has conducted research on characterizing and improving racial disparities in cancer care delivery and has ongoing work to identify and address gaps in care for AYAs. His training and experience include the use of qualitative data, survey methodology, predictive modeling, and large electronic health record datasets. He collaborates with multiple other members of the Cancer Outcomes Research Program, including Jennifer Elston Lafata, Marjory Charlot, Emily Ray, Andrew Smitherman, and many more. In his free time, he enjoys playing guitar, chasing his two kids around, and traveling.
