Mya L. Roberson, MSPH, PhD is a social epidemiologist and health services researcher who bridges big data with patient engagement to improve equity in cancer care quality. Substantively her work has focused on survivorship care for people living with metastatic breast cancer, equity in genetic and genomic services delivery, and cancer care delivery in marginalized populations. Her research has involved collaborating with patient-led organizations to identify community-driven solutions for improving cancer care quality. She collaborates with multiple other members of the Cancer Outcomes Research Program including Drs. Baggett, Kent, Reeder-Hayes, Troester, and Wheeler. In her spare time, she enjoys participating in aerial arts and spending time with her rescue dogs.
