Engagement in Research 101

March 13 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Due to popular demand, NC TraCS and UNC Lineberger are pleased to host another offering of the new virtual training series for researchers and staff interested in collaborating with community and patient partners (often called advocates) in their research.  These interactive, informative sessions are designed to empower and equip all those who engage with patient and community partners.

As one participant said, “Walking through the different levels of engagement was very helpful. The Q&A time and break-out session were so beneficial. I also learned about additional contacts and resources. Please continue to offer this training!”  You may register for the entire series or a single session at the links below.

Focuses on the basics of research engagement, providing an overview of patient and community engagement and its benefits, debunking common myths and misconceptions, and providing considerations and next steps for incorporating engagement approaches into your research.
