Breakfast Seminar: Trevor Royce, Radiation Oncology, UNC

This talk will reflect on a health services researcher’s year in health policy working in Washington, DC with the American Society of Clinical Oncology. It will focus on the forces behind the high cost of drugs in the US and the role pharmacy benefit managers play in cancer care. We will try to highlight the important role health services researchers can play in guiding health policy, and what opportunities there are for research in the drug delivery system.

The Cancer Outcomes Research Program Breakfast Seminar Series is organized by Drs. Ethan Basch, Stephanie Wheeler, and Matthew Nielsen. Please arrive at 7:45am to join us for a hot breakfast buffet prior to the start of our 8:00am meeting.
