Cancer-related cognitive impairment (CRCI) is a common complication of cancer and its treatments that results in life-changing and sometimes irreversible barriers to functional independence, psychological functioning, and occupational productivity. Dr. Nakamura will present research characterizing patient-reported and objectively measured cognitive difficulties experienced by patients with cancer, current understanding of clinical and biological factors that impact cognitive outcomes, and implications for developing CRCI interventions.

The Cancer Outcomes Research Program Breakfast Seminar Series is organized by Drs. Ethan Basch and Stephanie Wheeler. Please arrive at 7:45am to join us for a hot breakfast buffet prior to the start of our 8:00am meeting. Parking is available at the Rams Head parking deck next door; we will give you vouchers to park for free.
