Jon Powell, PhD

Jon became the Continuing Education Specialist with the UNC Lineberger Cancer Network in December of 2017. He has over 10 years of experience in higher education, professional development, and technology. Prior to coming to UNC, Jon pursued a career in advertising/technology and then worked on graduate degrees. Jon graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a BA in English, Portland State University with an MA in History, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a PhD in History. He collaborates with others on the professional education programs of the UNC Lineberger Cancer Network.
