Welcome to CCSP/Palliative Care Grand Rounds

The Palliative Care and Comprehensive Cancer Support Programs (CCSP) co-organize weekly presentations on the care of seriously ill patients and their families, including individuals living with cancer, relevant to interdisciplinary clinicians. Individual topics address pain and symptom management, communication approaches with patients and families, strategies to facilitate coping and support, quality improvement and research in these disciplines.

Conny Morrison

POCUS and Palliative Care?

Bio:

Conny Morrison is a current Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellow and recent IM residency graduate at UNC. She attended medical school at UNC School of Medicine. Her passion for palliative care is grounded in her experience as a burn patient when she was 18 years old and as a volunteer peer supporter for other burn survivors. She is also a passionate advocate for universal health care and serves on the board on Healthcare for All NC, the North Carolina chapter of Physicians for a National Health Program.
