Welcome to CCSP/Palliative Care Grand Rounds
The Palliative Care and Comprehensive Cancer Support Programs (CCSP) co-organize weekly presentations on the care of seriously ill patients and their families, including individuals living with cancer, relevant to interdisciplinary clinicians. Individual topics address pain and symptom management, communication approaches with patients and families, strategies to facilitate coping and support, quality improvement and research in these disciplines.

The Role of Palliative Care in Sickle Cell Disease
Bio:
Ana Mishra is a current Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellow at UNC. She graduated from Weill Cornell Medical College and completed internal medicine-pediatrics residency at Tulane University prior to starting fellowship. She has worked in global health in Tanzania and Uganda and has an interest in providing palliative care in resource-constrained settings.
