Steven Gray, PhD
Associate Professor, Department of Pediatrics
University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center
Dr. Gray was formerly a postdoctoral fellow in the laboratory of Dr. Richard Samulski in the Gene Therapy Center within the UNC School of Medicine. Following his productive postdoctoral studies focusing on AAV vectors for advancing gene therapy, he started his own lab at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical center. Since starting his lab, he has continued to advance AAV gene therapies, and oversee’s one of the few facilities that produces gene-delivering virus for patients.

John O’Bryan, PhD
Professor, Dept. of Cell and Molecular Pharmacology & Experimental Therapeutics
Medical University of South Carolina
Dr. O’Bryan received his Ph.D. from UNC Chapel Hill in the laboratory of Dr. Edison Liu within the Lineberger Cancer Center. He then completed postdoctoral studies in the laboratories of Dr. Tony Pawson at the Samuel Lunenfeld Institute in Toronto and Dr. Channing Der at UNC Chapel Hill. He has held appointments at the NIEHS in the Research Triangle Park and the University of Illinois at Chicago and is currently a professor at the Medical University of South Carolina, where his lab focuses on studying
cellular signaling pathways important in cancer.
