Aerobic and Resistance Exercise in Cancer Patients: Methods and BenefitsIn this presentation, Dr. Wood and Dr. Battaglini will review the importance of physical function (also referred to as physical performance) in patients receiving treatment for cancer, followed by a review of the mechanisms and evidence base supporting the role of exercise in improving cancer outcomes. Examples of aerobic and resistance exercise interventions will be discussed.
