Kelly Olsen is an MD/PhD student in the Microbiology and Immunology department. She is originally from upstate New York, and did her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in a five year program at Villanova University, focusing on developmental genetics using a zebrafish model organism. Her primary research topic is minor histocompatibility antigen identification and targeting for Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Outside of lab, Kelly rock climbs and enjoys anything outdoors, and has way too many pets and houseplants.
