Synthetic Immunology.

Our overarching goal is to unleash the full potential of our immune cells.

We’re exploring the crossroads of synthetic biology, immunology, and cancer biology. We engineer cells so that they achieve maximum therapeutic efficacy at the right place and at the right timing. We employ protein engineering, next-gen sequencing, CRISPR screening, and bioinformatics.

Join us on an exciting journey to shape the future of fully programmable immunity!

Our lab is located in the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of North Carolina and is part of the Department of Cell Biology & Physiology.
