Dear UNC Lineberger Cancer Network Friend,

I am very pleased to announce that our Learning Portal 2.0 has arrived! You may view this site by visiting https://learn.unclcn.org .

Once you arrive at the site, the first thing that you will need to do is register to create an account (your previous username and password will not work on the new site). This can be done with the “Register” link on the very upper right portion of the main page. Please note that you now have two options:

  • If you are at UNC-Chapel Hill and have an ONYEN, you may use Single Sign- On. Simply select UNC ONLY – LOG IN WITH MY ONYEN.
  • All others should use: CREATE NEW UNCLCN LEARNING PORTAL ACCOUNT.

Once you are logged in, you may register for Live Webinars or take Self-Paced, Online Courses. We will be providing links to instructional videos in the Welcome section of the main page. As always, our entire support team will be available by email at unclcn@unc.edu or by phone at 919-445-1000.

As you learn to use the site, you may notice that your certificates for courses previously taken may not be immediately available. We apologize for the inconvenience, but the migration to the new platform involves some work that we must do now that everything for our new portal is online. During July, we will carefully move all the certificates that you have previously earned to the new Learning Portal 2.0. Then, on August 1st, we will close the old portal permanently. If you need to access a certificate that is not available on our new learning portal during the month of July, please visit our old one at https://learn.unccn.org/login . There, you will still be able to access previously earned certificates. Please note that you may only sign up for new courses in the new portal.

I want to acknowledge the hours of time and creativity on the parts of Mary King, Veneranda Obure, Jon Powell, and Aaron Schmidt for making our Learning Portal 2.0 possible. It has been a monumental effort. We are also very thankful to EthosCE for providing this outstanding platform for health education.

I know that any change can present some challenges. We will do our absolute best to minimize these as you adjust to our new Learning Portal 2.0. We look forward to your questions and feedback.

Wishing you continued strength and fortitude in these challenging times,

Tim
