April 2022 Newsletter Pink Flower

Dear UNC Lineberger Cancer Network Friend,

Spring is here! It seems like all you have to do is blink and the deciduous trees have more leaves. It really is a lovely time of year.

Our team has been very busy working on improvements to our web presence. You have likely noticed that UNCLN has three distinct sites: our main website, our UNCLCN Learning Portal (LMS), and our video library. We appreciate that navigating between these locations can sometimes be confusing, and we are making every effort to create a more unified user experience in the weeks ahead. Please be on the lookout for better navigation (and some much-needed updates) later this spring. Special thanks to Mary, Vene, Jon, Oliver, Jason, and Andrew for all their inspiration and dedication to this project.

We have several phenomenal lectures heading your way! This will include our first-ever lecture on the use of cryotherapy (and other strategies) to reduce chemo-induced peripheral neuropathy with Mayo Clinic medical oncologist Charles Loprinzi, MD. We hope to see you for this, and all the other great lectures ahead.
