Dear UNC Lineberger Cancer Network Friend,

Welcome to November!!! The leaves are practically raining down right now, and the fall colors are absolutely stunning. This is truly a beautiful time of year. Our team took advantage of the lovely weather last week to do some team building at the Carolina Outdoor Education Center, located right next to the UNC Chapel Hill campus.

We participated in several facilitated activities that focused on teamwork, each one designed to give us greater insight into how we can improve our collaborative skills. The activities provided exercise, fun, and insight, and reminded me of how truly fortunate I am to share my days with such a kind, smart, and creative group of individuals.

If you have looked around our site recently, I definitely encourage you to do so today at www.unclcn.org (actually, the site you are on to read this article). You should see a lot of improvements to the look, feel, navigation, content, and accessibility of UNC Lineberger Cancer Network’s web presence. While kudos go out to the entire team, I particularly want to call out Andrew and Jon who went above and beyond on this effort.

Details regarding our entire November lecture lineup (free, with various types of professional education credit) are listed below:
