As you peruse our UNC Lineberger Cancer Network website, you’ll notice a new face. David (Andrew) Dodgson joined our team on October 4, 2021, in the role of Technology Support Technician and reporting directly to Tim Poe, Telehealth Director. Andrew comes to us from George Washington University, where he provided support to some of the largest colleges on campus for a wide range of technology issues.
Andrew earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology from NC State University and a master’s in physical therapy from Western Carolina University.
“In my new role, I am looking forward to assisting the team as they provide quality continuing education for healthcare professionals. This mission is particularly important to me since, in my previous career, I worked as a physical therapist,” said Andrew.
He enjoys going on ghost tours, spending time with his three cats, playing board games with friends, and exercising in his spare time.
