Lindsey joins us as a recent MA in English graduate student from North Carolina State University, where she served as a Science Communications Intern for the North Carolina Water Resources Research Institute and as a Graduate Student Library Assistant at the NC State School of Veterinary Medicine.

Before earning her Master’s degree, she received her B.S. in Communication, Public Relations from Appalachian State University. During her time at App she served as an Athletics Marketing Intern for two years, before moving on to be a Communications Program Assistant with the University Recreation department and also worked as tour guide/farm hand at Apple Hill Farms in Banner Elk.

Lindsey is a self-proclaimed “eternal student” due to her love for learning, additionally, in her spare time she loves to write sappy poetry, spend time with her dog, Rabbit, and participate in local trash clean ups in an effort to create a cleaner Earth.
