Area of Interest
As an academic hematologist with a focus on lymphoma, I have always been passionate about providing personalized, compassionate care to my patients. I believe that treating each individual holistically, considering their unique needs and experiences, is crucial to achieving the best possible outcomes. My dedication to the well-being of my patients extends beyond medical treatment, as I also emphasize the importance of emotional and psychological support throughout their healthcare journey.
My research interests are centered around geriatric oncology and supportive care, specifically for older adults with lymphoma. I am committed to understanding the unique challenges that this population faces and developing tailored treatment strategies to optimize their quality of life. This includes exploring age-specific treatment approaches, integrating palliative care, and identifying supportive care interventions that address the physical, emotional, and social needs of older adults during and after treatment.
