Oncology Patient Education Coordinator
“I work closely with staff, nurses, and doctors to make sure all the educational materials we give to patients are easy to understand. We do ‘field-testing’ to make sure the materials are helpful and clear, and that input from patients is so important.”
Yvonne Angwenyi, MSPH, RN, is a patient education coordinator at our Patient and Family Resource Center. She’s on a mission to make sure all the materials we provide are full of helpful and up-to-date information that helps our patients feel empowered.
