NIH Webinar: Why Are Individuals with Obesity from Racially/Ethnically Diverse Backgrounds at Increased Risk for Cancer?

This webinar is the first in a series that focuses on enhancing understanding of the intersection of cancer, obesity, and disparities within racially and ethnically diverse populations. The speakers, including UNC Lineberger’s Victoria Bae-Jump, MD, PhD, will discuss contributing factors such as genetics, environment, diet, and food insecurity. This webinar will set the stage for the next three webinars that will address this intersectionality in basic/translational science and clinical and community research. Please register to attend.
