So tell me how you really feel: The evolution of patient-reported outcomes (PROs) from measurement to actionability
June 27, 2022 @ 11:45 am - 1:00 pm
Speaker: Lynne I. Wagner, PhD, professor of social sciences and health policy, Wake Forest University School of Medicine.
Patient-reported outcomes measures (PROs) offer a methodologically robust strategy for assessing patients’ experiences with cancer and its treatment. In addition to yielding valuable data on symptom and health-related quality of life trajectories throughout treatment and survivorship, PROs can identify patients at risk for suboptimal outcomes and point to opportunities for intervention to optimize quality of life.
