Widowed Mothers Support Group

This support group is for mothers after the loss of a spouse. The group focuses on helping your children cope, adjusting your role as a parent, and coping with your own grief.

The group meets on the first Tuesday of each month, and dinner is provided. You are welcome to bring your children. They will be supervised in a separate room and provided with dinner, drinks, and activities.

There is no cost for attending, but registration is required to join the group. You and your family do not have to be patients at UNC, or affiliated with UNC.
