About UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center

A unique research environment

Our laboratory is located in the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center (LCCC) which is in a complex that includes the departments of Microbiology and Immunology, Biochemsitry and Biophysics, Pharmacology, Genetics, Neurobiology and Cell Biology and Physiology among others. There are many core facilities serving faculty and the research environment is rich in experts in any and every field of modern molecular and cellular biology. There is excellent access to clinical samples and opportunities for translational work.

UNC is close to two other powerhouses of research: Duke University and the National Institutes of Environmental Health Sciences. Our laboratory has collaborated in depth with groups at both Duke and the NIEHS further enriching the collaborative experiences of our group members. Several of our recent lab members have taken positions recently at the NIEHS.
