Area of Interest
My research involves the study of genitourinary malignancies, with the goal of translating histologic findings into molecular discoveries, with the ultimate aim of improving patient care. Specifically, I am focused on the molecular characterization of histologic variants of urothelial carcinoma. In addition to my own projects, I provide support to a wide variety of study types, including clinical trials, translational studies, basic science studies and animal models as the Faculty Director of the Pathology Services Core.
