NCONA Annual Conference 2017

NC

Palliative Care is at a critical juncture with the transformative process reshaping our healthcare system. There is growing consensus about the value and importance of integrating palliative care within any serious illness, yet there is still a lack of access to palliative care resources in many settings. There is also a great need for integrating palliative care discussions within the communities and rural settings.

This conference brings together presenters and participants with the aim of advancing a common understanding and a level of expertise in palliative care, throughout the healthcare continuum and in community settings. Join us as we seek to promote a better understanding of what palliative care is; to explore best practice approaches in different settings and to foster professional reflection and sharing.
