Tar Heal Tuesday is how UNC celebrates the international day of giving, Giving Tuesday!
For the past seven years, nonprofits and charities all over the globe have celebrated Giving Tuesday on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving in order to kick off the season of giving.
UNC Lineberger is doing our part today to secure a healthier future for our neighbors in North Carolina and around the world. Our goal is to raise $10,000 during Tar Heal Tuesday 2019.

To amp up the celebration, we’re bringing Tar Heal Tuesday directly to the UNC-Chapel Hill campus! UNC Lineberger will be in The Pit (outside the Carolina Union) on Tuesday, Dec. 3 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. There will be a DJ, photo booth, snacks, coffee, and interactive activities to connect with UNC students and staff on this exciting day.

Your gift can help more patients like seven-year-old Lorelei ring the bell to celebrate her last chemotherapy appointment.
Your gift supports research, such as clinical trials delivering less toxic therapies, so patients like Jeff Cobb can run a marathon after completing cancer treatment.
