Visit Our Studio

Hello Potential Presenter!

Our recording studio is in rooms CM210 and CM167 (the rooms are connected) on the Manning floor of the North Carolina Basnight Cancer Hospital located at 101 Manning Dr, Chapel Hill, NC 27514.

If you would like someone to show you the way to rooms CM210/CM167, call us 10 to 15 minutes before your arrival at (919) 445-1000, and we will have someone waiting at the main entrance of the NC Cancer Hospital to guide you.

We recommend that you bring any notes you want to use during the recording on a PowerPoint as the ruffling of physical papers can be picked up by our sensitive microphones.

You will have access to a computer with internet so that you can email your PowerPoint to yourself ahead of time, or you can bring it on a USB stick to copy it onto the studio’s computer.

Finally, we recommend that you wear warm clothing—specifically to avoid blue tops/shirts—as the studio’s default background is blue, and we don’t want you to fade into the background!

How to Get to the Hospital

The address for the hospital is 101 Manning Dr, Chapel Hill, NC 27514. Please visit https://unclineberger.org/about/directions/ for more specific information about how to get to the hospital.

Parking Instructions

If you are a UNC parking permit holder, please park in your designated parking area. If this is far away from the hospital, you can use the TransLoc app to locate a bus that would get you to the hospital.

  1. If you are not a UNC parking permit holder, the best place to park would be the Dogwood Parking Deck, located at 170 Manning Dr, Chapel Hill, NC 27599. It is a paid parking deck.If you are coming from Dogwood Parking Deck, make sure you are on the street (ground) level. If you come across the pedestrian bridge, you will need to go down one more level.
  2. The hospital should be entered on the Manning Level, which is on the ground floor.

How to Get to the Studio

Enter the hospital at the Manning Street Level and make your first right down the hallway.

At the end of this hallway make a left and then make a left at the next hallway.

At the end of this hallway, go through the door and make an immediate right.

The studio is the first door on the right.
