Visit Our Studio

Hello Potential Presenter!

Our recording studio is in room 5165 E on the 5th floor of the Bioinformatics building (just up the street from the main Lineberger building) located at 130 Mason Farm Road Chapel Hill, NC 27516.

When you get to the building, please take the elevator up to the 5th floor of Bioinformatics, then when you get out of the elevator on the 5th floor, simply knock on the door that is to the right of the stairs as you are facing them from the elevator, if you are having trouble finding the correct door or otherwise nobody is answering, please call us at (919) 445-1000, and we will have someone come get you.

We recommend that you bring any notes you want to use during the recording on a PowerPoint as the ruffling of physical papers can be picked up by our sensitive microphones.

You will have access to a computer with internet so that you can email your PowerPoint to yourself ahead of time, or you can bring it on a USB stick to copy it onto the studio’s computer.

Finally, we recommend that you wear warm clothing—specifically to avoid blue tops/shirts—as the studio’s default background is blue, and we don’t want you to fade into the background!

The address for the hospital is 130 Mason Farm Road Chapel Hill, NC 27516.  The parking deck across the street is called the Cardinal deck and is available for paid parking if necessary.  The address for the Cardinal deck is 3 West Dr, Chapel Hill, NC 27599
