Stipend & Housing

During the summer experience students will reside in housing on the UNC campus. They will have access to UNC recreational facilities and other campus resources. They will receive a stipend for personal travel and living expenses (either $4,600 for the 10-week Basic Cancer Research program or $3,800 for the 8-week Public Health program). In the academic year following the summer program students will be assigned to a cancer research project (either basic cancer research or public health cancer research), where they will work as research assistants and receive a stipend of $1,600 per semester.
