Healing yoga: A slow-paced, deeply relaxing class for people touched by cancer
Yoga can reduce stress, improve insomnia, decrease fatigue, and help ease some side effects of cancer treatment.
Join us for a slow-paced, deeply relaxing class for all people touched by cancer and their caregivers. People of all experience and fitness levels are welcome, including beginner and experienced yoga students.
Our yoga teachers are trained and experienced to work with people at all phases of the cancer journey. Come experience a sense of wellbeing and reduced stress, increased energy, flexibility, and strength, all with a certified yoga instructor who specializes in yoga for cancer patients, and a community of people who understand.

On-Demand Yoga
We offer the restorative practice of yoga and mindfulness to any person affected by cancer for free in our video library (coming soon).
We suggest having some props handy if you have them, including a mat, blanket, bolster or pillows, and strap, towel or scarf. Props are not required, but you may find them helpful.
These videos do not have to be used in order. Before starting any exercise program, you should always consult your care team.
If you have questions about the on-demand yoga program, contact Carly Bailey at carly_bailey@med.unc.edu
